Darwin International Airport Exercise - Ex 'Flame Pax' 2014

Airnorth: This exercise was well organised and conducted. It provided an excellent opportunity to interact with and learn from people who had real-life experience in the operation and management of Reception Areas for people who had been involved in incidents. Actual participation in an exercise such as this provides worthwhile experience that will stand those participants in good stead should they ever need to rely on their experience in a real situation. This exercise included some unexpected but realistic problems that may not have otherwise been thought of or dealt with by the participants. Reviewing the actions taken by those who dealt with these problems and the issues they raised provides opportunities to fine tune Standard Operating Procedures and policies.
